I bought some knitting needles!!! I love to crochet, but lately I’ve been itching to try out knitting. A lot of people told me they thought crochet was better and easier, which is why I learned that first. But now I’m ready for another challenge! Also, I figured since my shop name is Knit Whitt, I should probably know how to knit. I’ve already had a few snooty people tell me there are no knitted items in my shop, it’s all crochet. Yes, I know that, I made them! The name Knit Whitt was chosen more because it rhymes and has my last name, and it matches my sense of humor perfectly. Anywho, I’m going to start with just learning the basic stitches, then try to follow an actual pattern. I’ll post pictures of my first (hopefully successful) project. If you have any tips for a beginning knitter, please share 🙂
Whitt will knit!

you should read “Stitch ”n bitch” by Debbie Stoller. I learned how to knit the continental (left-hand) method. I like knitting but it’s like only single crocheting a pattern. It really takes longer to do a project. Good Luck!!!
Thank you! I haven’t been able to work on knitting for awhile because I’ve been working on my crochet website, but once I have time to try again I will check that first!
